Job Description

We are seeking a passionate and experienced CrossFit Level 2 (CF-L2) Coach to join our dynamic coaching team. This role is for someone who is highly skilled in group instruction, movement correction, and community engagement. As a Level 2 Coach, you'll be responsible for delivering high-quality coaching to our athletes, helping them progress safely and effectively in their fitness journey.

Preferred Skills (Not Required):

  • CrossFit Specialty Courses (Weightlifting, Gymnastics, etc.)

  • Nutrition coaching experience or certifications.

  • Experience using gym management software (e.g., Wodify, Zen Planner).

  • Background in personal training or program design.

Compensation:

Responsibilities

  • Coach group CrossFit classes with a focus on safety, movement quality, and athlete development.

  • Provide individualized scaling options and movement corrections during class.

  • Foster a positive, supportive, and inclusive class environment.

  • Conduct athlete assessments, goal setting sessions, or personal training when needed.

  • Participate in continuing education, staff development meetings, and team events.

  • Assist in new member onboarding and retention efforts.

  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the gym space before and after classes.

  • Contribute to social media content and gym community initiatives if requested.

Qualifications / Requirements

  • Current CrossFit Level 2 Trainer Certificate (CF-L2) required.

  • Current CPR/AED certification.

  • 1–2+ years coaching CrossFit or functional fitness in a group setting.

  • Strong understanding of CrossFit methodology, movement mechanics, and class flow.

  • Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.

  • Professional, punctual, and reliable.
